Amsterdam, the Netherlands, February 6, 2012 - Ahold has repurchased 2,010,039 Ahold common shares in the period from January 30, 2012 up to and including February 3, 2012. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.1732 per share for a total consideration of € 20.45 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 92,300,076 common shares for a total consideration of € 848.23 million.
